Professional photography for CV

Stop by the Job Fair ŠANCE and take advantage of the opportunity to have a professional headshot taken by professional photographer Věra Křeháčková. You will receive a professional photo for your CV, which can help improve your chances in the recruitment process. She will be waiting for you on Tuesday, October 20, and Wednesday, October 21, at booth No. 25.

Your photos will be delivered within 7 days after the fair from the email address fotobyvera@gmail.com. You can also contact this email address if needed. At the booth, you will provide your e-mail address, and you will then receive a link to a Google Drive folder where your photo will be ready to download.

 

Tips for a Professional CV Photo
  • Dress according to the industry or position you are applying for. For more formal or corporate roles, a shirt, blouse, or blazer is a good choice. For creative fields, smart casual attire may be more appropriate. In all cases, your clothes should be clean and presentable. I do not recommend tops with thin shoulder straps.
  • Simple clothing works best. Instead of bold patterns and large logos or text, choose solid colours or subtle designs that do not draw attention away from your face.
  • Pay attention to your hair and facial hair. Come with a neat hairstyle that you normally feel comfortable wearing. If you have a beard or moustache, make sure it is well groomed.
  • If you wear glasses, remember to clean them thoroughly before the photo session. Fingerprints and smudges can be very noticeable in photographs. 😊
  • A natural smile works best. You do not need to smile from ear to ear — a pleasant, relaxed, and confident expression is enough.
  • Look into the camera lens. Looking directly into the camera creates an open and confident impression.
  • Your posture does not have to be completely straight-on like in a passport photo. Slightly turning your shoulders usually looks more natural and relaxed.
  • Stand or sit up straight, but stay relaxed. Good posture can make a significant difference in a photograph.
  • And most importantly, do not worry about having your photo taken. You do not need to know how to pose or where to position your shoulders — that is what I am there for, and I will guide you throughout the photo session. 🙂
